Our Curriculum
Your child will receive a rewarding experience in a highly structured environment that is conducive to learning.
The basic areas of focus are:
- Math: Children will learn basic math concepts such as, counting, recognizing patterns, shapes, and sorting.
- Language: Children will learn how to make basic phonic sounds, pronounce and recognize their ABC's and numerals, speak in age-appropriate sentences, retell stories, etc.
- Small Motor: Children will begin to learn how to use handheld objects, such as , pencils, crayons, scissors, tracing utensils, etc.
- Large Motor: Children will participate in active play daily to help stimulate their large motor skills. Activities include teacher-led games and free-play.
- Science: Children will have hands-on opportunities to learn about nature, animals, horticulture, physical science, etc.
- Social Studies: Children will learn effective ways of coping with problems. They will learn how to interact positively with their peers. Daily opportunities to practice good manners, such as sharing and helping.
We provide Chapel every Thursday morning where we have worship time and a short Bible lesson. The teachers also have Bible based learning in their individual classrooms.
Our curriculum incorporates all of the components needed to ensure an excellent preparation for kindergarten and beyond.
